“Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Supernatural rest is doing my life God’s way. When I live in moment by moment dependency on Him, following His instructions, and doing only the things that He places in my path to do today, I’m living in supernatural rest.
Supernatural rest is complete trust in my Daddy.
Supernatural rest is obedience.
Supernatural rest is faith-faith to believe that even when I don’t understand, I believe and respond because Jesus understands and sees a much bigger picture than I do.
Supernatural rest is living in grace that God extends every day to me.
The only price tag for me that comes with supernatural rest is being willing to do things God’s way. He never intended for me to live feeling stressed and overwhelmed; He created me to live in constant communication with Him and because of my connection with Him, I would know what opportunities that come up in my day are for right now and what is only a distraction or a time trap.
The most difficult detail of living in supernatural rest is this-supernatural rest is a choice. MY choice.
Will I live today God’s way or my way?
